    At Ruined By Fiction, we offer a wide range of services to make your online bookish shopping experience as easy and convenient as possible. Our services include free shipping on all orders, secure payment options and an excellent customer service that is available 24/7 to answer any questions you may have. We offer special edition books with customised hardcase designs (aka naked hardcover designs) We offer bookish apparel for both men and women We also offer bookish merchandise like enamel pins, candles, tote bags etc. that were included in our past book boxes which are available under the Sale section
  • What are your return/refund policies?
    All sales are FINAL and we do not offer any refunds, returns, or exchanges. However, please email us if there is anything wrong with your order. In the email please mention your order number, and photos/videos of what you received and we will do our best to help you out!
  • Do you ship worldwide?
    Yes, we most certainly do. While this website is restricted only to Indian customers, you can check out our Etsy shop where we ship internationally to most countries. Click here to visit our Etsy store.
  • Do you offer COD?
    No, we do not offer COD (cash on delivery) as a payment method. We accept all other major payment options.
  • When can I expect my order?
    Our collections - books and apparels - have different shipping timelines. So please refer to the appropriate section under FAQs, for the exact shipping timeline breakdown.
  • When will my order ship?
    Though the dispatch timelines vary for the product categories, you will receive a tracking number once your package has been shipped. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us at ruinedbyfiction@gmail.com.
  • When will my order be shipped if I had ordered both books and apparel products together?
    Since the shipping timelines for our books and apparel categories vary vastly, we always ship your order in 2 shipments. The books and apparels will always arrive in separate shipments as per their mentioned shipping timelines.
  • My order was undelivered.
    There are many reasons why the order might not be delivered. But our shipping partner always makes 2 delivery reattempts before the package is returned to us. After the first unsuccessful delivery, we always reach out to our customers and make sure if the delivery can be reattempted again. But in cases where the package gets returned to us, the customer will have to pay an additional shipping charge within 30 days for us to reship the order.
